Path of Exile 2 is a next-generation Action RPG developed by Grinding Gear Games. Set years after the first Path of Exile, you will return to the dark land of Wraeclast and attempt to put an end to the evil that is growing. Path of Exile 2 is a free online multiplayer game that supports co-op for up to six people.

Return to a World of Grit and Despair : Since Kitava's death, society has slowly rebuilt, but corruption has resurfaced across Wraeclast. The villagers murmur about a horrible living Seed, which drives those around it insane.
Twelve Character Classes : Path of Exile 2 includes twelve character classes, with two for each combination of Strength, Dexterity, and Intelligence. While each class variant focuses on a distinct playstyle, they are only a starting point. You may combine talents from many classes to create the ultimate character build.
New Skill Gem System : Path of Exile 2 has 240 Skill Gems, which provide damaging active skills, and 200 Support Gems, which change their behavior. Combine these components to create your ideal build.
This is the next iteration of Path of Exile's renowned skill system. Support Gems are now socketed directly into Skill Gems, eliminating many of the frustrations of the former system while retaining all of the depth. It is now possible to six-link every talent that your character utilizes.
Dual-specialise your Passive Skill Tree : Path of Exile's classic Passive Skill Tree has returned, with 1,500 talents that enable you to totally tailor your gaming experience. It now supports Dual Specialisation, which allows you to allocate certain passive skill points to two alternative sets of skills. They engage whenever the proper weapon or skill type is deployed. For example, you can assign some points to both daggers and traps, or ice and lightning, and when you switch between attacks, the relevant skill points will be applied. This allows you to specialise in many areas without incurring opportunity costs.
Uncover All-new Items : Path of Exile 2 contains 700 different equipment base kinds, each with its own unique item to find. You may upgrade your arsenal with new weapons like Spears, Crossbows, and Flails, as well as supplemental equipment like Focuses, Traps, and revamped Scepters.
Explore a New Endgame : At the completion of Path of Exile 2's six-act campaign, you'll get access to the endgame. Each of the more than 100 endgame maps has its own boss battle and modifications that allow for updated versions of several of Path of Exile's previous leagues. In the weeks leading up to release, we'll unveil additional details about the surprises that await you in Path of Exile 2's endgame.
Path Of Exile 2 story :
The new questline in Path of Exile 2 takes place 20 years after the original tale, allowing players who've exhausted the plotline of the previous game something fresh to go through. Two decades after Kitava's death, a new gang of opponents has emerged and began a power grab, threatening Wraeclast's tranquility.
Path Of Exile 2 gameplay :
Path of Exile 2 began as a substantial extension to Path of Exile (the original), and it retains much of that identity. You will still be able to unlock abilities, passives, and socket gems to develop your character.
If you're coming from other prominent ARPG games (ahem, Diablo, ahem), you might be interested to hear that there are no cooldowns in Path of Exile 2. According to the creators, "one way a lot of games do make it so you have skill variation is that they simply put a number of cooldowns to a lot of stuff and you basically have a cycle where you use one skill, then this skill, then this talent.

Closed Beta starts on June 7th, 2024: If you get access, this will be your first chance to play the game, but not everyone will be able to participate.
